MOUNT PLEASANT, SC: Stuart D. Whiteside, P.E., Vice President and Founding Partner of local land design firm SeamonWhiteside + Associates has been chosen to serve on the 2009-2010 Board of Trustees for the Trident Technical College Foundation. The TTC Foundation works to raise much needed additional funds for the college and has been instrumental in increasing the number and award amount of scholarships and tuition assistance programs.

Whiteside has been an active supporter of numerous community, business, and professional organizations for many years. In addition to his work with the TTC Foundation, he is currently the Regional Advancement Vice Chairman for the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and a board member of the Center for Real Estate Development at Clemson University.

SeamonWhiteside + Associates is an award-winning land planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and urban design firm with office in Mount Pleasant and Greenville, SC. The firm will celebrate its 25th Anniversary in 2010.
