FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SeamonWhiteside + Associates is pleased to announce the recent accomplishments of several of our talented staff. Land planners Russ Seamon and Meredith Beardon, Landscape Architect Jeff Waters, and civil engineer Joe Bryant have successfully passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) examination. Their achievement brings the number of LEED® AP staff to 14, further supporting SW+A’s commitment to designing creative, sustainable projects.

Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) membership, the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is a national consensus-based, market-driven building rating system designed to accelerate the development and implementation of sustainable building practices. LEED Accredited Professionals are experienced building industry practitioners who have demonstrated their knowledge of integrated design and their capacity to facilitate the LEED certification process. The USGBC is a national non-profit organization that "promotes the design, construction, and operation of buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work."
