The success of Seamon Whiteside + Associates is achieved through skill and creativity, patience and teamwork. Landscape architects and engineers work together on every project. We have an active intern program for college and high school students. And we also learn together through in-house professional development, mentoring, and through "SW+A School," a weekly lunchtime series on topics ranging from current design trends to health and nutrition.

Many staff choose long-term careers here at Seamon Whiteside + Associates, growing with the company. They stay for the challenge and variety of work, to be sure. But they also stay for the culture.

We are the kind of office that signs up for volunteer projects - like creating a ball field for the Miracle League - and where colleagues play together on rec sports teams. It's the kind of office that's been known to fry up a half dozen turkeys for a staff Thanksgiving lunch. Our aim is to be a comfortable place of great ideas, great work and great people.
